The infrared thermometer measures in a range from -50 to +500 ºC, thus covering a wide measuring range. The accuracy of ±2% ±2ºC in a range from 20 to 500ºC makes this infrared thermometer a very precise measuring instrument. The infrared thermometer integrates a laser pointer to orient it correctly. The laser has a power of less than 1 mW. The emissivity of the infrared thermometer is fixed at 0.95.
The field of application of the infrared thermometer is, for example, measuring the surface temperature of electric and combustion motors or radiators. Thanks to its compact design, the infrared thermometer is handy and easy to store.
To start the infrared thermometer, simply press the measuring trigger. At that moment the infrared thermometer starts measuring. As soon as you release the trigger, the last value will remain on the screen until a new measurement is performed. As an option, it is possible to equip the infrared thermometer with an ISO calibration certificate.
