POPP Thermostat Adapter for Caleffi and Giacomini

The POPP thermostat adapters (and Zigbee/Z-Wave compatible ones such as Danfoss or Spirit) for Caleffi and Giacomini valves are used to correctly mount the smart thermostatic head onto the radiator valve.

1. Adapter for Caleffi:

   • Caleffi valves usually use an M30 x 1.5 threaded connection, but some series require a specific adapter.
   • Standard adapters are often included in the POPP/Danfoss thermostat packaging, but for Caleffi the dedicated adapter ring may be required (often identified with the Danfoss code 014G0254 or similar, depending on the valve body).

2. Adapter for Giacomini:

   • Giacomini valves have a proprietary pitch connection (often with a 24x1.5 thread or clip).
   • To mount a POPP thermostat on a Giacomini valve, a special mechanical adapter is always required which converts the Giacomini connection into the M30 x 1.5 standard accepted by the POPP head.
