AEOTEC Door and Window Sensor 7

The Door / Window Sensor 7 is used to monitor contact between 2 objects and when it changes. Containing 2 sensor parts, it is typically installed on a door or window and the adjacent frame. When the door or window is opened or closed, a signal indicating that a change has occurred is sent to the connected Z-Wave gateway. Smart automation, safety, and security routines can be triggered from this signal.

Note that the difference between ZWA011 and ZWA008 is that ZWA011 is the 700 series while ZWA008 is the 500 series. In addition, ZWA011 is purely a contact closure sensor, and does not have a gyro sensor or dry contact input sensor like the ZWA008.

4. Faster wireless performance. Best battery life and wireless performance are combined with the fastest wireless performance ever seen in an Aeotec sensor. The combination of 700 series and S2 in Door / Window Sensor 7 provides 50% faster wireless and response speeds compared to older sensors.
